Our Story

Borne out of a passion for metals, particularly the timeless allure of precious ones, as well as for the poetical possibilities of design and the narrative of shape, the OOOBangles® range epitomises beauty and meaning without adornment.

Our jewellery is intended to be simple in form, but rich in meaning and material – something to be cherished and passed on. We want to make something rare for our wearers. The single-piece full-circle construction of each pattern reflects the infinite concept of each design’s meaning. Any challenge in reading the pattern hidden within adds to the subtlety and abstract character of the piece.

Design process

Initial concepts are either sketched out on paper, or committed straight away to an accurately dimensioned CAD drawing.

These drawings are converted to high resolution 3D printed models to check proportion and feel. Our fantastic makers then use these prints to form moulds for casting.

We have new designs in the pipeline.

To ensure the exclusivity of your OOOBangle, we register our designs with the UK Intellectual Property Office.

Solid precious metal casting

We work with perhaps the best and most respected precious metal casters in the UK, who have pioneered ‘lost wax’ casting since 1947, resulting in very high quality and consistent pieces. Only the finest precious metal alloys are used.

We don’t want to offer you metal plating, or leave you with that hollow feeling – no – we only use solid preciousness to the middle.

Hand finishing and detailing

Our pieces are made complete, with a perfect balance of cutting-edge technology and traditional hand skills. The result is jewellery of the high quality which you should expect and which will become durable heirloom pieces.

Product care and your bangle’s future

Precious metals are naturally soft and deserve to be treated with special care to avoid damage. If tarnishing occurs, wipe with a jewellery cleaning cloth or clean with a suitable cleaning agent.

Metal products may experience wear and tear and normal patination. Designs with edges may be prone to denting more than designs with smooth surfaces. We think signs of life add character, as long as this is kept under control.
